History of the 100-Foot Christmas Tree
The 100-foot Christmas tree began as a 50-footer purchased by the Delray Beach Downtown Development Authority in 1993 to help spur economic development. An additional 50 feet of the tree was purchased in 1995 for Delray Beach's centennial celebration. Today, the city is celebrating 32 years of the 100-foot Christmas tree.
