ZooLights & Upcycled Delights: Chicago’s Must-Visit Holiday Market
Lions, lights, and local handmade treasures—Chicago’s upcycled holiday market is back at the Lincoln Park Zoo!
This holiday season, the Lincoln Park Zoo will glow with more than just dazzling ZooLights! Visitors will also have the chance to shop for unique, handcrafted treasures from local artisans who specialize in transforming reclaimed materials into one-of-a-kind works of art! The Nowhere Collective Holiday Market is a one-night celebration of creativity, sustainability, and community, all set against a twinkling backdrop.
A Market Like No Other
This isn’t your typical holiday shopping trip. At the Lincoln Park Zoo’s Holiday Market: A Nowhere Collective Collaboration, every purchase supports local artisans turning discarded materials into beautiful, functional, and truly unique creations. Even better—you can bring materials for makers to use, sparking a cycle of creativity that goes far beyond your gift bag.
Holiday Market Highlights

The Nowhere Collective Holiday Market features over 30 local artisans, or “trash smashers,” who transform reclaimed materials into extraordinary treasures. Shop a wide variety of handcrafted goods, from home décor and garden gear to fashion, art, and bath & body items, while enjoying the sparkle of over 3 million lights at ZooLights.
You can also get hands-on with make-and-take crafts and reusable gift wrapping. And BINGO is also back this year—the first 100 guests will receive a scavenger hunt card. If you get a B-I-N-G-O, you can win prizes from local businesses or the chance to give back to organizations in need!
